President’s Hundred

Woodley Springer is a decorated Vietnam veteran who lost his savings, home, and security during the 2008 housing market collapse. Left with nothing after also losing his partner Katy, an aging Woodley decides to take matters into his own hands when he encounters those responsible for his ruin. Awakening his dormant soldier instincts, he resolves to make his own rules and seek his own justice.

JJ Adams is the creative pseudonym of veteran feature film editor Tracy Adams and investigative documentary filmmaker Jeffrey Jackson. Driven primarily by Adams’ original story concepts with essential creative support from Jackson, the duo combines their distinct storytelling disciplines to craft high-stakes, socially conscious thrillers.
Adams brings razor-sharp narrative pacing to the page, a skill honed over 25 years as a feature film editor with dozens of credits, including the #1 box-office hits Limitless and Riddick. Jackson’s background in investigative filmmaking deeply informs the thematic core of their writing. Functioning as Adams’s sounding board—“the guy to bounce ideas off of”—Jackson grounds the narrative in reality. His 1993 documentary, Death & Taxes, explored the deadly real-life standoff between a defiant tax protester and law enforcement, highlighting the tragic, violent friction between the government and the individual.
Presidents Hundred was born from Adams and Jackson’s shared observations regarding America’s widening wealth gap and the extreme economic burdens placed on the working class. Their foundational question was simple but provocative: how long before a fundamentally good person snaps and takes matters into their own hands?
